The Intention
of Conveying Truth in Music

The Journey from the Musical Sound-Space to the Absolute Music-World of the Harmony

In his musical work the composer pursues a clearly defined intention: step by step he wants to make his listener familiar with the liberating world of self-awareness, and he achieves it by directing the musical flow in such a way that – starting from the musical sound-space – his listener is taken in steps through the motif and sequence-spaces into the infinite space of the harmony.

As the listener reaches this unlimited musical space of the harmony, he arrives simultaneously at himself and locates the dynamic musical fullness of his own self-awareness.

Introducing the Listener to Pure Self-Awareness

So, the intention of the classical composer is to familiarize or acquaint man with the experience of pure self-awareness –
that natural creative field of the tone poet.
To achieve this he employs the means of music.

Cognition of the Original Natural World Order

To achieve this the musical creator follows a very unperturbed way.

With the means of music and under the auspices of the harmony laws of the microcosm of music, or of the Creator or of Almighty Nature respectively, he guides the listener through the beauty of the cosmic worlds of his inner human forces and in doing so, brings him closer to the universal laws of harmony by which the world is organized from its origin.

This intention is not so incomprehensible – particularly at a time when, as a result of human misbehaviour, the environment appears hostile here and there, and the reality of life, originally harmoniously designed, appears distorted to those who in the limited context of their first three states of consciousness do not understand the reasonably organized relationship between cause and effect.

Man Challenging Fate

Owing to this distorted picture of nature, which actually functions fully in support of life, man, in the limited context of his first three states of consciousness, quarrels with his fate.
And either he stands against nature, or he thinks he must and could outwit this almighty force by means of technical devices – so-called “achievements.”

Harmonizing Function of Music

Using the means of experiencing higher states of consciousness the classical composer educates the music listener as to the senselessness of such madness – on which, in the end, the entire technical civilization with all its human incompetence is based – and shows him practical means and passable ways of placing himself and his action by gaining higher states of consciousness into harmony with almighty nature.

Experiencing Harmony with the Almighty Laws of Nature

This universal educational process starts with the systematic learning of how to naturally deal with the individual human forces via the unfoldment of the motif, continues with the systematic learning of naturally dealing with social human forces in the sequence-spaces, and finds its conclusion in the space of the harmony: with the systematic learning of how to naturally deal with the universal harmony laws of the microcosm of music, or of the Creator and Almighty Nature respectively.

On the level of the harmony the listener, under the auspices of the harmony laws of the microcosm of music, or of the Creator or of Almighty Nature respectively, is permeated by the values of the absolute sound-substance, and so he experiences his personal life totally in tune with the omnipotent laws of nature; indeed, he even recognizes himself now in his creative dealings with his cosmic organs of creativity – which results logically from the musical process of cognition – as the legitimate ruler over nature.

And from this new standpoint within his self-knowledge, he even regards nature as his intimate companion on his way, who is very naturally inclined towards his desires and fulfils them.
